Don't wince. But that punch in the face and that blood squirting in the boxing scenes of Akshay Kumar's forthcoming film Brothers is all so real the faint-hearted may not be able to take it in their stride.
Akshay wanted to take the action to the next level in Brothers. None of the boxing scenes in the film are faked. Akshay insisted on real punches. He wanted Brothers to be the first authentic boxing film of India. Brothers is an upcoming Indian action-drama film, directed by Karan Malhotra and produced by Dharma Productions, Lionsgate Films and Endemol India.
The film is an official remake of the 2011 Hollywood film Warrior. Starring Akshay Kumar, Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez in lead roles, while Jackie Shroff will play a supporting role. The film is scheduled for release on 14 August 2015
